    i was told that in order to capture in adobe prem using a Studio DV plus card, i had to have Adobe prem 6, which i now have, and a microsoft driver. Does anybody have an idea where i can get the microsoft driver please, i really need to find out soon.

    If you are running Win2K or WinMEit's already on the system.

    If you have Win98 I think u need the latest DirectX

    Any event when your camera is switched on and connected *before* booting the PC it will show up in device manager under 'imaging devices' or similar.

    i was talking to a guy on tech support and he says to delete the files and device card of the system and reboot. Then when it detects it the card instead of loading the new software, install the software and firewire info from the windows ME CD.

    try www.microsoft.com and run a search in their download section, or try www.adobe.com and do the same.
